Legalisation Process
Documents to be legalised for use in Lebanon need first to be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to be apostilled and then presented to the Embassy of Lebanon.
Fees
The fee payable is £201 (corporate documents) or £85-£130 (personal documents)
If documents need to go through the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, the fee is extra £32 per document.
Processing Times
5-6 working days (longer if through the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce)
Notes/Comments
The memorandum of association and articles of association of a company must be legalised separately.
There may be an ad valorem charge to legalise certain commercial documents, such as invoices and certificates of origin, or where a monetary amount is mentioned in the document. Such documents usually need to be stamped by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce first.
