- Advice on the incorporation of branches and subsidiaries
- Assisting with international probate and renunciation of inheritance
- Notarisation of both German and English commercial register excerpts and company documents, as well as of certificates of good standing
- Notarisation of copies of ID documents, proofs of address and academic certificates
- German-language affidavits (eidesstattliche Versicherung) for a variety of purposes
Certificates of existence and representation
English companies engaging in business in Germany will often times be asked by the authorities to provide proof of their existence and of their directors’ authority to bind them in a transaction. This can be done via a notarial representation certificate, sometimes also misleadingly referred to as a certificate of good standing.
Our German department issues such certificates on a daily basis and can guide you through the process. For further information, please send us an enquiry or read our blog post on the subject.
